Samsung YP-K3 (2 GB)
Specifications

Performance
The player doesn't have video nor does it have any sort of audio recording capabilities. Another minus for the K3 is that it doesn't support AAC and OGG audio formats. The formats it does support are MP3, WMA, and ASF and PlaysForSure content. The player also has an integrated FM tuner with autoscan and presets. Another function not present is the Alarm clock.
The K3 syncs with Windows Media Player 10 and 11, as well as various MTP-based jukebox software when connected via the proprietary USB cable. It's just the 0.27-inch and is equipped with a 1.8-inch OLED screen. Slight design changes include chrome trimming and the availability of colors viz. black, red, and green.
The YP-K3 specifications state a 25 hours playback for the Li-Polymer battery within. The player after a full charge worked for 18-19 hours easily. Even after a low battery warning it kept going strong for over 90 minutes. The battery is statifactory for a single charge. The player only charges through USB and that doesn't make it a good travel mate, unless you're entire trip will have you tuning into music for just 20 hours. .
Conclusion
The Samsung YP-K3 sells at an MRP price of Rs. 5175 with a one year warranty. Off the street it should be available for only 500 bucks cheaper. The player is excellent and the next best thing after the iAudio in terms of sound quality. Ease of use can't get better than this and its sleekness is such a beauty, almost like a jewel. But at this price it's expensive for just a 2 GB player. Listening to the player and looking at it makes you want to own it, but the price is the only hitch that would stop you from doing so unless money is no constraints. The K3 is said to be a competitor for the iPod Nano, but doesn’t seem to make par with it. It's priced at Rs. 5175 ($119) for 2 GB and Rs. 7348 ($169) for 4 GB
