Performance

The Zen Stone Plus has exceptionally better sound than the older Zen Stone. The former comes with the much needed equalizer, which provides you with standard equalizer presets and a custom preset as well. The custom preset allowed me to get the best out of the standard Creative earphones. The player also comes with Bass Booster that gets more punch into your music.

 

Conclusion

The Zen Stone Plus is available for around Rs.4,000 with a 1-year warranty. The player has a 2 GB capacity. Creative has included an FM Tuner as well as a screen in the original body of the Zen Stone. The FM tuner and the overall sound quality of the player are good. The only downer is the slow menu and the poor interface, which will take some time getting used to (if at all you do). As the 'Plus' in the name suggests, it does offer you extra features over the Zen Stone. However, it does compromise a bit on ease of use that defines the original Stone.
